GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- Tammy Sutton-Brown took full advantage of her height advantage. The 6-foot-4 senior center scored a season-high 22 points to lead No. 7 Rutgers past Ohio University 75-49 on Thursday in the first round of the State Farm Classic. "That was our game plan coming in," said Sutton-Brown, 3 inches taller than Ohio's tallest player. "We wanted to pound it inside initially. When the ball is falling like that, it seems easy. Our guards helped me a lot today and got me the ball in good position." Rutgers (8-1) will face No. 19 Florida in the championship game. Florida beat Tennessee State 100-54. Karlita Washington, plagued by early foul problems, added 17 points, five assists and three steals for the Scarlet Knights. "It was good for us to see a different player show up," Rutgers coach C. Vivian Stringer said of Sutton-Brown's performance. "There are a number of things that we need to improve on and get better at. I thought we were a little hesitant today." Lori Moorman had 18 points for the Bobcats (3-7). Rutgers started the game sluggish, committing five fouls in the first 3:32 while failing to score. Ohio took advantage of the fouls, converting six of its first seven free-throw attempts to build a 10-4 lead. With Rutgers trailing 13-9, Sutton-Brown scored 10 of her team's next 12 points to take a 21-16 lead with 5:25 remaining, The Scarlet Knights outscored Ohio 18-5 during the final eight minutes of the half, holding the Bobcats to only one field goal during the span. Rutgers picked up where it left off in the second half, dominating Ohio down low and capitalizing on several Ohio turnovers to stretch its lead to as many as 20 points. | ALSO SEE Women's College Basketball Scoreboard
