NORMAN, Okla. (AP) -- Caton Hill had 23 points and 12 rebounds as No. 19 Oklahoma beat No. 13 Southwest Missouri State 89-82 on Friday night. Southwest Missouri State's Jackie Stiles scored 23 of her 31 points in the second half for the Lady Bears, who trailed by 15 points in the first half and 13 early in the second. Southwest Missouri State (3-2) drew within two at 76-74 with 2:45 left on Stiles' consecutive jumpers from the lane. But a free throw by Oklahoma's Stacey Dales, a follow shot by Hill and two baskets by reserve Rosalind Ross enabled the Sooners to maintain an 83-78 lead entering the final minute. Oklahoma was 6-of-9 from the free-throw line in the final 59 seconds to preserve the victory. Dales had 19 points, LaNeishea Caufield 17, Ross 15 and Jadrea Seeley 11 for the Sooners (3-2), who had lost their last two outings to ranked opponents. Tara Mitchem added 19 points, including three 3-pointers, for the Lady Bears. Carla Deer had 14 points and Ann Cavey 12 points for Southwest Missouri State, which was hampered by 28 turnovers. Oklahoma also committed 28 turnovers, but was 27-of-31 from the line, including an 18-of-18 performance in the first half when it took a 48-37 lead.
