TAMPA, Fla. (AP)_ Dyral McMillan scored two of his school-record tying four touchdowns in overtime to lift South Florida to a 42-41 victory over New Hampshire Saturday night.

McMillan is a former University of Miami (Fla.) running back who pulled the Bulls (6-2) even in each half on runs of 2 and 13 yards. He did it again from 5 yards out in the first extra session.

In the second overtime, McMillan gave South Florida a 42-35 lead with a 10-yard reception from freshman quarterback Marquel Blackwell.

New Hampshire (3-4) closed within a point on a 4-yard pass from Ryan Day to Jermaine Washington. The game ended when Day, holding on a fake point-after attempt, passed inaccurately to placekicker Peter Carbonara.

South Florida had a chance to break the game's fourth tie with 7:33 left in regulation, but Tony Umholtz missed a 27-yard field goal.

Umholtz, a punter replacing injured placekicker Bill Gramatica, was coming off his fourth consecutive Division I-AA independent special teams player of the week award.

McMillan finished with 144 yards on just 14 carries. Washington had 107 rushing yards, including a 75-yard touchdown run in the second quarter.

South Florida now has won 12 of its last 13 home games.
