BOX SCORE
NEW YORK (AP) _ Christian Soto's 40-yard field goal midway through the first quarter turned out to be the only points St. John's needed in a 16-0 victory over Marist on Saturday. St. John's (2-0) is yet to allow a point this season after its first back-to-back shutouts since 1930. Pat Keena scored on a 2-yard run with 4:01 left in the first quarter and Peter Dileo caught a 16-yard scoring pass from Steve Kalberer with 11:31 to play to account for the other St. John's scores. Ken Krapf intercepted his school-record 16th pass, breaking the St. John's career mark set by Richie Rodriguez in 1997.
