DAYTON, Ohio (AP) _ David George ran for 102 yards and three touchdowns and Jimmy Lee added 190 yards and two scores as Dayton beat Austin Peay 49-21 Saturday.

George put the Flyers up 14-0 on touchdown runs of 4 and 2 yards in the first quarter. His 36-yard run just before halftime put Dayton (1-2) up 28-14.

Lee carried the ball 24 times and scored twice in the third on runs of 40 and 14 yards as Dayton took a 42-14 lead.

Austin Peay's Brian Baker threw touchdown passes of 30 and 8 yards to Michael Farrell and 9 yards to Daniel Herndon. Baker finished 25-of-40 for 240 yards with two interceptions.

Pat McLaughlin completed 4-of-7 pass for 79 yards, including a 52-yard touchdown pass to Joshua Clark. McLaughlin also had a 3-yard touchdown run in the fourth to put the Flyers up 49-21.

Dayton rushed for 357 yards, compared to just 67 for the Govs (1-2).
