BOX SCORE
PEORIA, Arizona (Ticker) -- Lyle Mouton, Sean Berry and Jose Hernandez combined for 11 hits and seven RBI as the Milwaukee Brewers posted a 12-5 exhibition victory over the San Diego Padres in a battle of split squads. Mouton went 4-for-6 with a double, homer, three runs scored and two RBI; Berry went 4-for-4 with two runs scored and three RBI; and Hernandez went 3-for-3 with a homer, three runs and a pair of RBI. James Mouton and Henry Blanco each added two RBI for the Brewers, who pounded out 17 hits against five different pitchers. Padres starter Woody Williams was roughed up for six runs and seven hits in 2 2/3 innings. San Diego did not allow an unearned run but committed five errors, including two by third baseman Sean Burroughs -- the son of former major league outfielder Jeff Burroughs. Valerio De Los Santos picked up the win after allowing two runs and three hits with three walks and two strikeouts in 2 2/3 innings. Ruben Rivera singled, homered and scored twice for the Padres. The talented but underachieving outfielder is 8-for-18 with two triples, two homers and four RBI this spring.
